Use the window sill to extend the desk space
After placing a tatami bed and a systematic wardrobe in the bedroom, do you feel that there is no room for a desk? Then you must have underestimated the window sill space.
There is still a certain distance between the end of the bed and the window sill, and you can use the window sill to extend the desk space, so you can have the length of a large desk!
Placing the desk near the window will provide good lighting when working and improve efficiency.
It’s hollow under the desk so you can sit down and use it.
There is no tatami under the desk. The hollowed-out design allows the owner to sit on the tatami in front and put his feet into the hollowed-out position. He does not have to worry about having to kneel down when using the desk on the tatami for long periods of time. No problem either.
Since the desk is built using the location of the window sill, in order to avoid causing a sense of oppression and affecting the lighting, a small shelf is used above the desk instead of a system wall cabinet to hold books.
One side of the double-layer bookshelf has a baffle to prevent books from falling; the asymmetrical shape adds a lively aesthetic to the space without being too rigid.
The system furniture in the entire room is designed in two colors. The two dark and light wood colors create a sense of hierarchy and distinguish different areas. Large areas such as the system wardrobe, the floor and the shelves on the wall use light wood color. To increase the transparency of the space, dark wood colors are used to decorate small areas such as the desk, a row of drawers in the system wardrobe and the bed frame, making the overall space more layered and bright.
The system wardrobe is designed with two partitions: hanging passages and movable shelves. The homeowners can freely adjust the length and type of their clothes. For example, when many long skirts and coats need to be hung, all the shelves can be moved. Go and put it on the top of the cabinet for storage. If there are no clothes to hang, you can use shelves to divide the space into several folding areas that are easy to store and easy to access, and make flexible use of the system wardrobe space.
