【 Must-Read 】5 Key Points for Village House Furniture Design

Case Address: New House (Village House), Tai Po

1. The oversized platform design offers large storage capacity

This custom-made oversized platform not only serves as the base for the bed but also offers a hidden large storage space, achieving a seamless combination of functionality and aesthetics. The platform section is designed with a hydraulic bed, and there is ample storage space under the bed board, which is convenient for storing large bedding or seasonal items while keeping the space tidy. This ingenious design is particularly suitable for small units in Hong Kong, maximizing the utilization of every inch of space.

2. The hydraulic press is convenient and durable

The custom-made hydraulic bed is renowned for its high flexibility. Combined with the height of the platform, the bed board can be easily opened with just a gentle lift, making it effortless and safe to retrieve items. Compared with the traditional drawer-style storage, this method makes it more convenient to access items and does not occupy more external space.

3. The wardrobe and bedside table are designed as an integrated unit

The integrated design of the wardrobe connecting the bedside table makes the lines of the entire room more smooth and conveys a clean and simple feeling. The upper wall cabinets offer more vertical space storage options, making full use of every part of the wall. Such a design not only enhances the space utilization rate but also highlights the overall sense of the living room, avoiding a messy look.

4. Multi-functional corner of desk and mirror cabinet: Perfect the details of life

As part of a broader home renovation, the desk on the side of the bed, combined with the mirror cabinet design, creates a multi-functional small corner. The tabletop has a flap that can be opened, with hidden storage space, which not only maintains a simple appearance but is also very practical. Such a design, whether used as a daily makeup area or a simple workspace, is just right for the needs of urban people's lives.

5. The contrast between warm white and charcoal black enhances the texture of the room

The color scheme of the furniture uses warm white and carbon black as the main contrasting colors, greatly enhancing the visual layering. Warm white brings a comfortable and cozy feeling, and when combined with the steady and grand carbon black, it creates a modern and fashionable room atmosphere. This color combination not only conforms to the taste of understated luxury but is also suitable for small families who pursue a simple style.
