The design of Japanese sliding doors strikes a balance between the need for light transmission and privacy

In the design of public housing or Home Ownership Scheme flats, sometimes if one wants to have an extra room, the living room does not have Windows. Therefore, maintaining the light transmission of the living room while also taking privacy into account becomes a major challenge. We designed a Japanese-style sliding door for our client. The upper part is made of frosted glass with a wooden frame, while the lower part is made of wood boards, allowing natural light to penetrate and bringing a bright feeling to the living room. At the same time, it retains the privacy of the room, achieving a balance between practicality and aesthetics.

The light wood grain color in Muji style is simple and comfortable

This time, the furniture in both rooms is in the light wood grain color of the Muji style, giving people a natural and warm feeling. With a few white cabinet doors and frosted glass, the visual space becomes more spacious. From the bed, wardrobe to the desk, the overall design is simple yet functional, suitable for families pursuing a minimalist lifestyle, and also makes the space feel more spacious and bright.

The laser level is precisely installed

To ensure the accurate position of the sliding doors in the rooms, our technicians will first install the wardrobes, hydraulic beds and floor platforms. After the furniture is installed, the sliding doors will be installed. Before installing the sliding doors, a laser level will be used to measure to ensure that the door tracks are perfectly aligned with the walls, floor platforms and wardrobes.
